PROGRAM

Join us for a day of destruction and damages as we explore the basics of today’s commercial property coverage. This one day seminar has been designed to provide the reinsurance claims professional with a comprehensive update on property insurance and reinsurance issues and coverage. Register today and prepare for the next weather event!

ISO v. Manuscripted Forms
The program will start with a look at the history of the Standard Fire form and how it has changed through the years. Coverage parts, exclusions, conditions and exclusions will be considered.

Specialty Coverages
We will then move on to the more specialized areas of coinsurance and time element. From a practical perspective, how do these often misunderstood coverages function? What changes are on the horizon?

Complex Claims Issues
Once we have reviewed the coverage, we will turn to the process of adjusting the more complex commercial property loss. Quantifying and appraising damages and replacement cost issues will be addressed.

A Property Insurance Case Law Update
Along with the latest coverage cases industry, we will also consider the coverage implications of recent catastrophes such as the California wild fires and the legacies of Katrina and other significant cases.

Trends in Reinsurance Coverage and Terms
Our survey of commercial property insurance coverage will end with an analysis of the current trends and terms in property reinsurance.
